1. Data Controller

2. Data we collect

In providing the Service we process: identification and contact data (name, email) provided when activating an account; access data (logs, IP address, user agent) for security purposes; technical data related to the monitors configured by the User (monitored URLs/hosts, check results, response times) — data the User itself enters, relating to systems it owns, not third-party personal data collected by us.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Providing the Service and performing the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR); security and abuse prevention, legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR); service communications necessary for account operation (contract performance); statutory obligations, where applicable (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

4. How data is processed

Data is processed using IT tools, with adequate technical and organizational security measures (encryption of secrets at rest, access limited to authorized personnel, password hashing).

5. Data retention

Data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and, thereafter, for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations or to defend a right in court, under ordinary statute-of-limitations terms. Monitor technical data (check history) is subject to configurable retention periods based on the active plan.

6. Data disclosure

Data is not sold to third parties. It may be disclosed to third-party vendors acting as data processors on our behalf (e.g. hosting providers, SMTP providers for transactional emails/notifications), strictly to the extent necessary to provide the Service, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

7. International transfers

Where a third-party vendor we use (e.g. an email provider) involves a transfer of data outside the EU, such transfer only takes place towards vendors providing an adequate level of protection (e.g. European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses).

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) at any time by writing to info@etizei.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or your local supervisory authority.

9. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or destruction, proportionate to the nature of the data processed.
